that Bert Bakker has joined us as Chief
Technology Officer (CTO).

Bert has more than 20 years of experience in the development of Class III implantable medical devices and his expertise has been instrumental in bringing key innovation in the neuromodulation space to a commercialization phase.
In his role as CTO and INBRAINâs leadership member he will be responsible of the strategic development and execution of INBRAINâs graphene core technology designed to decode brain signals into medical solutions in the field of neuroelectronic therapies with the objective to restore patientâs quality of life in those affected with brain-origin disorders.

Prior to joining INBRAIN, Bert was CTO of GTXmedical a MedTech company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative therapies to accelerate and augment functional recovery of people with spinal cord injury and to improve their quality of life. At GTX Bert helped bring forward their implantable neuromodulation system as well as the platform components around.
Before GTX Bert had several positions in other important MedTech companies such as Philips, Sapiens Steering Stimulation and Medtronic after Sapiens acquisition. Bert holds a masterâs degree in electrical engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands.
